One Year, One Word: Transformed

Each year at First Baptist Church of Norristown, we have a single word that we reflect on and are actively pursuing as a church. This year, our word is TRANSFORMED.

We want to challenge you this year to be TRANSFORMED—to allow Jesus to take hold of your life and change you for the better, and when you see others behaving in ways that you used to, you can confidently say that you have changed for the better. That becomes a powerful testimony.

Jesus gets us there. Romans 12:2 (NIV) says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Pastor CG welcomes in the New Year with a series on our word for 2025: TRANSFORMED. Instead of focusing on the pain our lives, Pastor CG encourages us to let Jesus TRANSFORM us as Romans 12:2 instructs.
